At Yorkshire Ear Care you will only ever be treated by a fully qualified Audiologist. As Audiologists we are naturally programmed to identify any abnormalities (pathologies) within the ear. We provide more than just a wax removal service. We check the health of the ear too.
If a pathology is identified, we have the technology to send a detailed image of the inside of the ear direct to your GP. Bypassing the traditional method of sending out letters and thus shortening waiting times for treatment. Our mission is to make this level of care the norm, not the exception.
Ear wax or 'Cerumen' as it is medically known is a completely natural occurrence. For many people, ear wax and the amazing role it fulfils inside the ear canal, goes relatively unnoticed. There are however those who will experience 'Cerumenosis' (a build-up of impacted wax) this can present as.
We endeavour to make all aspects of our service uncomplicated and user friendly, for this reason we do not charge extra for out of hours service and allow our patients access to our clinic availability to encourage direct booking. You will also receive a reminder text message on the day of your appointment. We perform home/care home visits and emergency appointments if required.
